I last had my period at the beginning of February, it is now the middle of March and I have not yet gotten my period. I am on the implant,have been for over 2 years,but my period has been pretty normal the last year. I did recently get my implant changed but I was not due until October so the doctor said the hormones had not dwindled and I would be switching a fully functioning one for another fully functioning one. We had unprotected sex on the 2nd and 14th of march. I took a pregnancy test Sunday the 17th and it said negative. Starting Sunday night, I started to get spotting but brown spotting (old blood). I know everyone will say to take another one, which I will, but has anyone had a situation like this? I’ve only ever gotten brown spotting at the end of periods not randomly.
