Did You have a successful IUi cycle?

We just had our first IUI this past Sunday. My husband’s sperms are superb but I have PCOS. We did 2 failed TI cycles and now on to IUI. I’ve read that IUI increases rate of pregnancy in woman with ovulation issues to 25% per cycle (under 35). My question is, did IUI work for you, and if so, what cycle number?

Iui success rates are soooo low. I did 4 and they all failed. If I could have gotten in for ivf sooner, I would have stopped at 2 and moved immediately to ivf.

I don’t want to be negative Nancy but the fail rate of the IUI is 80%. It’s not a good procedure, even if you get a positive the outcome usually results in chemical pregnancies. My friend is on her 6th one because she can’t afford IVF. 
Just don’t get your hopes up with that procedure.

We did a medicated IUI and I’m 8 weeks pregnant after our first cycle. It can happen! Good luck to you.

No, we had 3 perfect iuis and they all failed for no reason. We moved on to IVF and have our first FET on 4/22. I can't say I regret them because I really really did not want to do IVF, but iui does have a really low success rate.

Just found out I’m pregnant from our first IUI. It was a medicated cycle with donor sperm. Although the results of IUI aren’t amazing as IVF, it can lead to success. Don’t lose hope. Everyone’s TTC journey is different. Some bodies need their own time and method.
