Is acne linked to masturbation?

I read somewhere that acne can be caused by masturbation due to the hormonal imbalance. Is this true?

Masturbation wouldn’t lead to a hormonal imbalance. Yes acne could be caused by a hormonal imbalance. That imbalance however would not be due to masturbation.
