How long did it take you to miscarry after baby stopped growing?

The doctor couldn’t find a heartbeat during my ultrasound at 9 weeks. Right now I am thinking I will let the miscarriage happen naturally.

I found out on feb 11th baby had no heart beat, it was my first ultrasound and baby was measuring ahead of what I thought I was, thought I was only 10 weeks turns out baby was almost 11. I waited for it to happen naturally but it never did. Feb 19th I took the pill to move it along, that wound up not working so I had to get a d&c on mar. 6th. Wish I would have originally opted for the d&c I think it would have be a lot better on my mental health. But for your sake I hope it happens soon and you don’t have to go through as much as I did. Sorry for your loss sweetheart, I pray your heart heals fast.

Took my baby 5 weeks. Mentally I wasn’t ready and once I finally accepted it, it happened naturally.

My first missed miscarriage we found out at 12 weeks it had stopped growing at 8 weeks and I had a d&c and then my second we found out at 12 weeks it had stopped growing at 6 weeks, that time had to wait 10 days for another scan then had surgery 5 days after that. My body doesn't send the right signals to miscarry naturally. Both times having the surgery was the best option for me mentally. And recovery is really quick thankfully x

My last pregnancy ended with a MMC. I did wait for it to past naturally. I found out at 11 weeks that the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. Then when I would have been 13 weeks, I passed it naturally. I started spotting about two days before my body aborted the baby. Then I had like a heavy period for about a week, then spotting for a bit longer. Now I’m pregnant with my rainbow baby at 13 weeks and just saw my growing baby on Monday, kicking away. 
Best of luck to you! Your body will know what to do once it realizes the baby is no longer growing. And then you could be back at baby dancing in no time! Baby dust to you! 🙏

First of all im so sorry for your loss 😫
With me, they couldn't find a heartbeat at my 8 week appt. They sized the babies and 1 stopped growing at around 5 weeks and 1 stopped growing around 7 weeks. I still had not bled...only cramping.. so they told me it was a missed miscarriage.  The way the doctor explained it to me was the babies had been dead for about 2 weeks and my body still hadn't registered it so I was going to need assistance to get them out and it probably wasn't going to happen naturally.  Of course hysterical emotional me at the time is in complete denial and says they will come out when they are ready... long story short i ended up having to take cytotec and almost ended up having a D&C.
Logically it makes sense that if your body isnt registering it already who knows how long it could take. The wait would have been more emotionally painful than anything.
