What do you guys think about this birth plan

Question

"1. Birthing: Want to try a water birth and go natural as much as I can. If I can't have a water birth, then I would do an epidural for pain relief"
2. Baby: Delayed cord cutting, breast feeding, please don't bottle feed baby in the first hours. Bonding time alone with father and baby.
3. Other people: Only the necessary personell in my room. Want as few people as possible around. As little interruption as possible. No interns and students. 
4. Perennial massage to prevent tearing if possible.
5. Atmosphere: Prefer a calm environment...no loud noises, no shouting at me. I love my Privacy. 
6. Others: Wish for a family room for spouse if available.
7. What I don't want unless baby and I are at risk: C-section, induction, membrane sweep, catheter or unnecessary interventions."
Disclaimer: I know it won't go exactly like this but I just want to have one because the nurses might not know my personality.
Please give suggestions on how I can write those points in a short form so the nurses don't have to read much. Thanks.

Sounds like a reasonable plan, well done! 🙌🏻 Mine is pretty similar. I also have my SO being the voice for the two of us so to speak firstly to him if plans are changing etc.

That’s awesome. And you know what, it’s completely realistic to expect that it will go according to plan. What you have listed there is very achievable. 
One thing to note. If you labour in water you’re unlikely to need perineal massage. Water is excellent for pain relief, but it also softens the perineal tissues and helps them stretch rather than tear. 
Something else I’d suggest is a Hypnobirthing course. 
You’ve definitely got realistic goals here, good on you! 
Btw... I’ve delivered seven babies naturally, I’m a staunch advocate of natural birth. It can be done with the right mindset and with support.

If you have an epidural you’ll have to have a catheter. You won’t be able to walk to use the restroom. That’s standard procedure. Hopefully your able to have your birth plan followed according to your wishes! The only thing on mine is I definitely want an epidural and I want my husband to announce the baby’s gender.

Sounds great and similar to mine as well. The only thing I would add in is the fourth stage of labour (skin on skin for at least an hour resting with your baby immediately after delivery or as soon as possible if there have been an complications has been proven to be very important for development, bonding and establishing breastfeeding). I’ve also got no bathing or weighing soon after birth on mine as in my country we don’t really do that any more as it’s usually not necessary and interrupts the time the baby should be with the mother and the vernix that a baby is born with on their skin is important and should be left there for a while as it is absorbed into the skin and protects it. It’s up to you if you want to include these of course but thought I’d mention them in case you want to put them in your plan since they’re the same kind of thing as the other things you are choosing and they’re usually recommended :) x

Looks great! I’d make a back up plan in case intervention becomes necessary. I had pretty much the same plan but needed an emergency C-section after laboring for 75 and a half hours. I had an epidural in the OR and reacted so I had to be put under, but because my doctor knew my back up plan (and my husband and doula were in the room to advocate) he performed the operation in a way that we still had delayed cord clamping, husband cut the cord, and husband did skin to skin in a dark room with calm music until I could come in. Baby wasn’t taken for measurements until after I breastfed her and she didn’t get her bath until the next day.
