Birth Control Troubles

So the past five months have been a bit of a birth control horror story for me.

In October, I got a copper IUD to avoid horomones. However, I had it removed in January due to heavy bleeding to the point of a hospital visit. At that point, my gynocologist and I decided to try mirena IUD.

It was wonderful... For a month, until I realized it was expelling and I could feel it at my cervix. I went back to my gynocologist, had it removed, and had a new one placed last week. I am now on my period. Last night in the shower, while washing, I felt my string hanging out of me. I immediately knew I had expelled my shiny new IUD. I felt higher, and it is now hanging UPSIDEDOWN from my cervix. I can feel one of the wings, and it's fairly well lodged up there. I have an appointment today to have it removed, but now I'm trying to come up with a next plan for birth control.

What have you had the best luck with? I'm looking at nuva ring or possibly nexplanon. What I'd your opinion? (Clearly I'm done with iuds haha)
