10 steps back....😔

Eliza was doing so well and then late yesterday afternoon and over night Eliza took a turn backwards. She was struggling to keep her oxygen levels up and her heart rate dropped a few times. She had 2 Brady incidents in an hour. The doctor believes she has an infection of some kind. Overnight she started having low glucose levels again so they extended her feeding from 2.5 hours back to continuous. This is many steps backwards, early yesterday morning we were told she'd be good to go home in 7-10 days. But now we are back to no end date and a lot of unanswered questions. They suspect she has an infection, but can't tell us what kind or how she would have contracted it. The doctor took blood cultures last night which will take 2 days to come back with results. The doctor started her on 2 courses of antibiotics in the meantime. All we can do now is wait...again. My heart is crushed.
