I dont think they killed her or anything. I think there were child predators scouting the area and she was taken and put into sex trafficking or killed by them. They are extremely irresponsible and should have been charged with neglect.

I think if your happy to leave your babies on their own in an foreign country then they should have been charged eith neglect. Maddie would not be missing if they had been there.

Leaving kids alone in a hotel, with the door unlocked on top of it, to go eat and drink in a different building? In a foreign country?!? I think someone was watching them and saw how easy it was. They were obviously irresponsible but I definitely think they were being watched. Especially since it wasn’t the first night they had done it. The way everything was handled when they called police was wrong too. They compromised that scene so much! It reminded me of the Amanda Knox documentary and how bad the investigation was.

She disappeared when my daughter was a year old so I’ve always followed it. I beinged watched the thing on Netflix and I really do thing they or some one did. But I don’t understand why just get rid of one kid 🤷🏻‍♀️ did they sale her? I feel like they sold her to some one an had it set up like a kid napping maybe

I personally believe they may have given her something to make her sleep and possibly caused an overdose, or she got up from bed and had an accident and they panicked

I can’t remember all the details, but I saw they were upset that Netflix was releasing a documentary. Why? If you have nothing to hide, why would you not want your daughter’s story out there? If my son went missing, first of all, I know I’d be distraught and a mess. Second, I’d plaster his face everywhere. The case is 12 years old—you can exactly harm the investigation at this point. I think she either passed away, or they turned a blind eye to her trafficking/kidnapping in exchange for money and paid the police off in Portugal to keep their names out of it.
