Underwire bra stops milk production?

Question

I went maternity clothes shopping and the woman working tried getting me to buy a pregnancy/nursing bra. Her reason was that underwire bras stop the production of your milk or hinder it. I went home and googled it and have conflicting answers. Most answers say there is no real evidence of this and others say yes it can.
So was this true for you if you wore an underwire bra while pregnant/nursing?

An ill-fitting bra can cause problems and underwire bras aren’t as flexible in their sizing as wireless bras that’s all. 
Basically a sports bra or wireless maternity/nursing bra are more forgiving to the changes in size throughout pregnancy and nursing, but wired bras are fine as long as you change size when needed (which will likely be more often with a wired bra)

I’ve heard they’re mote likely to give you a clogged duct, they’re so comfortable that I wouldn’t want to wear an underwire bra. I went from an A to a C though, so I can’t speak for bigger sizes.

I have mostly nursing bras with now wire. But I have a couple with wire I'll wear usually when we go out. But I could see how it could cut off some milk.....maybe lol

I’ve only been wearing underwire and my daughter is 8 months old. She was ebf until we started solids two months ago, and I had plenty of supply for her
But, I have special nursing underwires that are more flexible than regular bra wires

I worn a underwired bras through my pregnancy with all 3 babies. Milk supply has not been affected but I do prefer non wired bras while breastfeeding tho. As it’s so much easier as they more moveable you can lift them over you boob and not have to struggle with a fitted bra.. I’ve never brought nursing bras tho to me they really expensive and ugly. They some lovely lace non wired bras out there, that’s make you still feel sexy not like your daisy the cow! 😂
