Depends what they’re talking about and how good of friends they were. I talk to former coworkers frequently. We’re in the same field still so we bounce ideas off one another or vent.

Daily is odd. I talk to old coworkers fairly often on a friendship basis/professional basis for work related questions “hey remember when we did x, then y happened, right?”

I agree that daily is excessive but I’ll be honest, it’s more than likely innocent. A lot of guys will do something and not see a problem until you say something about it.
