I am 2w and 1d postpartum and I was wondering what’s the soonest you’ve had sex? I know the dr said 6w, but I had a really easy pregnancy and I didn’t tear when I gave birth. I’m just scared it’s gonna hurt.

It actually has little to do with with tearing during delivery. Your uterus has a large open wound from the placenta detaching and your cervix needs to close. You’re at an increased risk of infection and hemorrhage by not waiting until the doctor clears you.
