When did you fall in love with your baby

I’m currently just over 12 weeks pregnant and I don’t feel attached to my baby as yet. 
Is that normal ? Of course I’m happy for this blessing but when will the love come

I honestly didn’t until I birthed my baby! Same is happening with my second! Like of course I love and care about them but it didn’t seem real to me until he was here!

I think when I found out the gender! As soon as I knew I was having a daughter, it was easier to start picturing my life with her and what she'll be like, etc.

I was in love with them when they started kicking...I mean I love them before that but that’s when I really starting feeling attached

Honestly...my son was like three months old before I started really loving him. I know, it’s making me cringe to even admit it. It’s not like I didn’t love him before that - I did. I wound have protected him from danger with my life and I spend endless hours caring for him. I guess its more accurate to say didn’t feel bonded to him until around 12 weeks. 
Everyone is different. Don’t rush yourself. It WILL come. My son is the actual jewel of my heart. Whatever you end up feeling and when - just don’t beat yourself up. I wish I’d done less of that in hindsight. 
I’m pregnant with my second now, and I’m feeling more bonded than I did with my son which is nice, especially when this baby kicks. But it’s still like there’s a little stranger inside me some days.

I always “loved” my first, but never felt such strong emotion until hearing her first cry. It was instant attachment then. I expect the same with this one.

Now that I’m starting to feel baby move (18 weeks, 5 days), I’m falling love. I was excited before, but terrified to be too excited...
Today one of my cats laid on my tummy and the baby seemed like it was booping the cat... I could feel them moving right under the cat, and it made me melt a little.

My first son.. right away. My second son... around 15 weeks when I got over gender disappointment and knew his name

When I first laid eyes on my son as he was born. Don’t worry, I wasn’t attached or bonded with my son during pregnancy at all. Same with this baby, but I know I will love her dearly once she’s born.
