How can you tell if you have a broken rib? I know I need to go to the dr but money’s really tight right now so I’m only going if absolutely necessary, and I don’t think they can do anything about a broken rib anyway.

I was hit really hard in the ribs about a week ago and it knocked the wind out of me. Ever since then it’s hurt, but today it’s worse. If I breathe it hurts, if I move my left around too much then it’s almost like my lungs are spasming or something. I feel movement and it hurts. Also sitting up straight hurts and I get the spasming too. plwase don’t be mean, I’ll go if I have to I’m just tight on money right now and might not be able to afford necessities if I go without a good reason
