Anyone else?

Went to the er a couple of times before I went to my obgyn. I had a couple of ultrasounds but they never let me see the baby or hear the heart beat it's some dumb rule they have. But now obgyn wont do an ultrasound because I've already had one but I still haven't seen my baby. I'm high risk and have a hematoma you would figure they would want to see for them selves and let me see my baby but no. Ugh.

That's odd that the OB wont do one at 12 weeks. Usually they do it for the nuchal scan and confirm dating. Did you already have that done with the previous ultrasounds?

Are you getting a nuchal ultrasound? It’s not mandatory. Tests for downs, they look at spine and cranial development to see if it’s all healthy. Cause that is usually done around 12 weeks. Mine is next week.

It’s pretty standard er policy to not show you the screen of the ultrasound.
