Safe during pregnancy?

I have the worst cold sore (1st one ever) - can I use this while pregnant? The directions say to consult a dr if pregnant/nursing, but they’re closed until Monday. . .

I got hit with not one, not two, but THREE at once!! My OB said that it was safe to use abriva and she also prescribed me valacyclovir. Warm wash cloth helps sooth it too. Hope this helps!

Do you have a health line you could ring or anything? I wouldn’t without talking to my doctor

I get them too and there's not much you can do besides natural stuff. I swap out my toothbrush and change my pillowcase and towels daily, dab a cotton pad with Listerine and put it on the sore to dry it out, use virulite several times a day, and ice to kill the infection. Then I toss any lipstick or chapstick that came in contact with the area. I know it's awful. I hope it passes quickly for you.
