I've been struggling for the last 8weeks with our baby laying in transverse, breech , head down back to an unstable lie position. She has been head down for two weeks until today again at 38+2. My dr wants to try to turn her we'd at 39weeks and if successful break my water on the spot. I'm fine with the plan, but I'm 2cm dilated nowwwwwwwwww soft cervix. I'm sooo afraid of going into labor and having a prolapsed cord. Is it possible my baby can flip on her own now this late in my pregnancy? I can't understand why if she's been head down she turned this late? I'm so scared at this point, my first was a vaginal birth. Ladies any insight or experience with this?
