Dissolvable stitches...??

I had a second degree tear on the inside of my labia. It's been just over 3 weeks now and the stitches are still there. The tear is healed enough that the stitches are mostly just pulling and is sometimes more painful that the tear ever was.

How long should it be taking for these to dissolve? How can I make them dissolve faster? Should I have them removed?

The knots are around the skin... Not just on one side of it... So I can't clip it and pull it through if that makes sence. I could clip the stuff in between the knots though. But the knots would probably have to stay...?
