help...

So I've noticed recently I've started to get a few clots when on my period, never used to. And it's heavier. I felt some blood come out and felt uncomfortable so went to the loo find a fair sized clot had passed wasn't that big, but then I notice a biggish clot in the toilet, a little bigger than 50p I guess. I'm also noticing my period in general is heavier, like I'll bend down to get washing out and I can feel it just gush. Could this just be age related I'm 28 and never experienced periods like this, even after having my children!
