When did you buy maternity bras?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I was wondering when you ladies decided it was time to buy maternity bras or the bra pads to keep from leaking the calostal? Sorry for the poor spelling lol.

Motherhood maternity has some good bras! And I used the medela pads last time, but think I might get washable ones this time

22w - I broke down today and bought two regular bras in a bigger size (up three cup sizes 🙄) Will buy nursing bras much closer to due date.

I was thinking that this morning! The pads (day and night ones) were actually on clearance at my drugstore a few days ago so I bought what they had (only 2 boxes of each). Also, I already leaking every few days 😂 super fun! As for the bra, I was wondering about that this morning. I finally have some boob-growth (yay!! I’ve been waiting a LONG time for this moment 😎🙈) and was wondering if I should hold off on the maternity/nursing bras till about 38 weeks and just get bigger regular and still sexy bras for now?

I’ve just bought a maternity bra but only for wearing at home. My boobs have got MASSIVE and they need all the support they can get so when at work/out in public I still wear a good, supportive regular bra, but once home I change into the maternity bra when I get into my pjs as it’s more comfy (can no longer go without a bra at home any more as the girls are too big!)

I'm also 23 weeks and bought one about a week ago. My old bras were just too uncomfortable and small. It's the best decision I ever made it's so much more comfortable. 
I will say that i went from a 36DD to an XL bra without underwire as even the 38DDD were too small so be prepared to go bigger than youd expect.

Been wearing them since very early on ! I don’t even remember when I switched. My boobs were so sore in the beginning and just blew up. Maternity/nursing bras are the only ones I can tolerate now. I do have breast implants so they’re on the larger side to begin with, not sure if this plays any part. I get mine at Walmart, honestly they’re like $8-$10 and I think they’re actually better than the more expensive ones I’ve tried so far 🤷🏼‍♀️

Bought my first nursing bras yesterday at Motherhood Maternity at 23 weeks. My wires have been digging into me during the day and I need night time support now.

At 20 weeks I got a couple (second hand) bras in a larger size since I’ve outgrown my old bras. I don’t plan on buying nursing bras until closer to my due date because my breasts are still growing and those things are friggin expensive

I got a nursing bra at about 13 weeks so I could wear a bra without underwires but little did I know that I'd jump 3 cup sizes ten weeks later. Just had to get another bra last week at 22 weeks. Guess I'd wait as long as possible so you can make sure you get the most out of the investment. I got my most recent one at Target and it's Auden(?) brand. Very comfortable and supportive! $16.99 -- thought the price was great for being a maternity item!

I bought maternity/nursing bras around 22 weeks. I bought one cup size larger than my other bras. My regular bras were getting so uncomfortable and I wanted something without underwire. Bought them from Target. Best decision.
