Do you have emetophobia?

Emetophobia is the fear of throwing up. i’ve struggled with this for two years now and want to know if i’m the only one

I don't know if I would clarify myself as someone who has a phobia of it, but I really really don't like it. I will do everything I can not to puke, even when I know that if I do throw up I'll probably feel better. I get almost panicky when I know I can't hold back.

I’ve had this for years and I used to think I was just weird until I searched it up. It makes me feel a little bit better that I’m not alone with it but it sucks since especially this time of year I’m super germaphobic and avoid people and eating out at all costs because I’m afraid of catching a stomach bug. And yes I also get super scared when throwing up. The last time I did was 2014 and I think I had food poisoning and when I knew it was coming up I panicked because I didn’t know what to do or how to handle it I legit thought I was going to die lol haven’t thrown up since and I’m really weird about food and over analyze everything I eat. I’m currently afraid of getting pregnant because of the fear of morning sickness but I know when it comes down to it I’ll just have to go through it since that’s just apart of it. Hoping I’ll be one of the lucky ones that doesn’t have it. Lol

I don’t like throwing up but I’m not afraid of it. When I throw up it goes through my nose too and then I stop breathing for a second. It’s scary but I know that it’s just my body getting rid of something bad inside me. I’m not afraid of it tho

Yes. Since i threw up for almost 39 weeks while i was pregnant daily. Some days as much as 25+ times! I had HG. Ot was horrible. Ever since i am terrified of vomiting again.

Nope. I used to be very sick and throwing up multiple times per day was normal.
