I first got my nipples pierced about three years ago. They closed up and were repierced once or twice. I’ve had my current bars in for probably 6 months or so. One nipple (always the same nipple and always the same opening) gets a bump on and off that always heals and then comes back. I’ve always assumed it’s a keloid but I’m not so sure. This has been an issue since the first time I got my nipples pierced. Would it help to change to gold or sterling silver bars? I’m still wearing the same ones I got them repierced with which I’m guessing is steel. What else can I do?
