Early signs of labor?

Hi ladies ftm and just wondering what we’re the early signs you experienced before you went into labor? I’m 40 weeks & 4 days and having what feels like period cramps and some lower back pain

For me I felt like I had cramps yes, I also felt like i had to poop 😂. My stomach got super hard and it felt heavy but the pain was tolerable. You're at the point where I would just go in because theres no harm in checking!

I'd say that's a pretty good early sign. Have you lost your mucus plug at all? I never noticed losing it with my first but with my second, I lost it and went into labor that night. The whole previous day I had lower back pain like I was gonna start my period.
