The wait for next weeks scan is killing me. I was told over a week ago that I was measuring a week behind.

Since 4 weeks my pregnancy has been measuring behind as I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at what they though was my 5 week appointment. That was not true.

2 weeks later, fetal pole, yolk and heartbeat are "found".

The heartbeat was slightly slow at 97, but she reassured me that it was early and the heart had probably just started beating a day earlier. Normal 90-100 at this stage.

5 days later I receive a call that the doctor wants to see me to discuss my blood work from 2 weeks prior..

They do a scan when I get there, and go on to say I'm measuring 2 weeks behind, and they most likely never found a fetal heartbeat and it was probably my own.

Very different from 5 days ago when I was sent home with good news.

He said if I wanted to schedule for a D&C that night he would be ok with it, but I SUGGESTED I would wait ATLEAST a week to be sure of what the heck is actually going on.

So this weekend I have been crying, scared, feeling fine physically, but been sent home with information on what to do when I miscarry.

I need advice. I should probably seek a new OBGYN.
