Weaning my 17m old

I haven't started but I am looking to start as soon as I can figure out how to wean her without traumatizing her, she will not use a bottle or a sippy cup. I honestly don't even know where or how to start the process. She nurses throughout the day and the night. Any advice or suggestions would really help. Thanks
