do antibiotics for yeast infections make it worse before it get better?

i had a weird vaginal smell for a while and didn’t know why, some days it was worse than others. i didn’t smell fishy it smelled like i just got done at the gym and haven’t showered in days even right after a shower. but i didn’t have itching or any weird discharge like i did the last time i had a yeast infection so my mind didn’t immediately jump to that i just thought i was funky for some reason. after trying home remedies the smell wasn’t going away so i went to the doctor and it was a yeast infection. she prescribed me an antibiotic and wrote a prescription for two but told me it should clear up with just the one in a few days but gave me a backup just in case. since i took the first antibiotic i actually feel grosser, i feel like the smell is even a little worse and now there’s discharge that i didn’t have before. i don’t remember if this happened the last time, should i take the second one or is it normal for it to get a little worse before it gets better.
