What actually happens at my 16 week appointment

I got to hear the babies heartbeat for the first time, my midwife checked my urine and blood pressure and that was pretty much it x

I asked my midwife at my 16w app to hear heartbeat or she wouldn't of done it as she said they dont really like doing it that early incase they can't pick it up but i insisted and she found it after about 30 secs

All they did with me was test my urine. No blood test, no hearing the baby's heart beat. Didn't weigh me either!

Nothing - I thought it was pointless lol. Didn’t listen to heart beat but did take bloods and do general obs / my weight! Was literally 10mins
