Has anyone had cytotec used to induce labor?

I did the Cervidil twice and I’m still only 2-2.5 cm dilated. The doctor will either to cytotec or pitocin, but I just read up on the cytotec and am hesitant

I had cytotec with my second .  That did the trick and my body went into labor without needing anything else . From start to finish was about 6 hours . Started at 2cm and 15% effaced , with him being really high

Cervidil put me right into labor with my first. I was a week overdue though. With my second and third they used pitocin. I’d ask for an epidural right away if you get pitocin. It brings on VERY strong contractions. Don’t know anything about the other med.

My hospital/docs use cytotec to get things going and then pitocin later for inductions. I've never had it done but will be having it within 2 weeks for pre-e

I had to use pitocin both times only it worked since I was soft enough to dilate the other options are to soften cervix I'd be more inquisitive and ask if you're soft enough to just use pitocin which is to jump start contraction to dilate naturally.
