So I was going to my first day of work at Bath and Body Works and I watched some videos and then I went out onto the floor to practice. As I was practicing asking customers questions so I could help them find what they need, a woman came in. I asked her how she was doing and if I could help her find anything in particular. She just said “don’t you have to be pretty to work here?” I was in shock. Why would anyone just say that out of the blue to a stranger. I told her that everyone is pretty and deserves to be treated with respect and she asked to speak to my manager. Ugh. What do you guys think? Am I really ugly?
