Gallbladder Issues?

Hey there, has anyone had their gallbladder removed? Every woman on my mom’s side has, and I’m starting to have problems. It’s hereditary but I know I can work better at healthy eating. Any advice or your experiences is appreciated!

I have gallbladder problems but doctors won't take it out due to risks of complications. It can be controlled with a gallbladder friendly diet, but not everything healthy is good for the gallbladder. I have to avoid eggs, fresh/uncooked vegetables and apples and I also can't eat a lot of fat (dairy, meat etc). That includes healthy fats such as salmon and avocado.

I’ve had it removed. Mine was infected. I never had stones. It swelled up and almost ruptured. I wish I had a choice to change habits and keep it. It’s not a big deal living without it but you do get diarrhea at awkward times. Also I don’t know if it just me but sometimes I have anxiety about missing an organ. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve also found it harder to lose weight
