I'm 6wks4days according to my Imp. I went for an ultrasound today just to rule out ectopic or any other thing.

the ultra sound tech was able to see the gestational sac and yolk sac, the sac measured 6wks5days. he said there was no fetal pole yet. I saw flicker on screen and he recorded the sound. sounded pretty much like a heartbeat to me. but he said it was my blood vessel pumping blood inside the sac... never heard that before. so I'm confused now. does anyone know anything about this? he assured me not to worry but I am...

UPDATE

So I did go back at 8wks by my Lmp n everything is fine. there was a heartbeat. but baby is measuring at 7weeks3days which corresponds to my ovulation. I ovulated late in d cycle on cd19. thank God it's all good.
