Owlet monitor. Is it worth it?

I’m considering getting one, my little girl is 3 weeks old and honestly I just cannot get a good nights sleep because I am so paranoid. Is it worth the price?

Not at all. Way too many false alarms, snd I had to replace the base unit twice within a few months because it kept having issues. Then it wouldn’t connect to WiFi so it was basically a brick.

I personally love mine. My baby is 2 months old and I have never had a problem. I got mine on sale for just over $200 on amazon. I do not pay a monthly fee (never heard of that) and have access to all the features. I also love that it can be connected to two phones since sometimes I’ve had to leave my little one home alone with dad.

Personally I love it and it gives me such peace of mind. We had one true alarm and that alone was worth it for me. I would definitely buy it again.

We decided on the Snuza due to money issues but if we could have afforded it, I would have gotten it. The Snuza is great but it only alarms if they stop breathing unlike the owlet which will alarm for other issues and before they stop breathing. Either way, having something really gave me peace of mind and helped me get some sleep.

I love mine. It has had several true alarms for me. My son was having episodes of high heart at 2 weeks old. it started red alarming in the middle of the night I woke up and took his temperature and it was high so I took him in. He got admitted to the PICU with viral meningitis and on the hospital monitors it showed his heart rate getting high like the owlet showed. It also alarmed low 02 when he ate at night (normal and not a concern) the hospital monitors showed the same drop when he ate. I trust the owlet and it really helps me sleep at night with less fear.

I had such high anxiety while I was pregnant. Anytime I hadn’t felt her move in a few hours I would start to panic that she had strangled her self with her umbilical cord or something. Because of that I knew that I want to buy the Owlet. We added it to our registry to get the 15% off completion discount and I’m so glad that we did. Even with it sometimes my paranoia gets the best of me and I have to look to make sure she’s breathing but I know the only reason I’m sleeping at night is because of the peace of mind it gives me.

My son is 3.5 months. Mine was able to be purchased with my flexible spending account so look into that if u have one. I love it. I sleep better, it doesn't bother him at all and we havent had any false alarms
