Sleeping position...?

What sleeping position is comfortable for everyone? I am currently most comfortable on my back but it is making me nervous because everything says to try to avoid sleeping on your back. I try to sleep on my side but always wake up on my back. Anyone else back sleeping? I'm only 17+2 so I know it's still early but I don't want anything to go wrong because of the way I'm sleeping!

I always sleep on my back. I’m still getting over a cold I had recently and for some reason I get stuffier when I’m on my side, so I haven’t even been trying to sleep on my side. I’m 16 weeks and 2 days, so it’s really not a problem at this time. I’ve seen other people on the app say that it will actually start to get uncomfortable sleeping on your back, and your body will tell you when it’s time to stop sleeping on your back. I plan on getting a pregnancy body pillow in a few weeks to help me sleep on my side, but for now I’m going to enjoy sleeping on my back.

You can sleep on your belly until it’s uncomfortable for you. I am 16 weeks and still do occasionally. It’s also ok if you wake up on your back!! You don’t HAVE to sleep on your left side. Either side is good when sleeping. Sleeping can be hard enough when you’re pregnant- just try to be as comfortable as possible!

I start on my side and always end up on my back! I sleep with a pregnancy pillow now, and it props my upper back/head up a little bit. Makes me feel a little better knowing I’m not totally flat!

I’m a back sleeper but last night I couldn’t sleep at all I kept waking up every couple hours maybe that was a sign to start transitioning to my side 😭

Before I found out I was pregnant, I slept on my stomach all the time. So once I found out, I started sleeping on either my back or side just to get used to it. Ive been tossing and turning, and just achy in the morning. So I bought a maternity pillow( C shaped) and it came in today, and so looking forward to sleeping with it tonight. I tried it out, and it was super comfortable. No way I would turn over, as far as I can tell.

I’m the same Way I go to bed on my side but wake up on my back. I think there are certain pregnancy pillows that prevent you from rolling onto your back
