I have a 14 month old who woke up this morning with a runny nose. I’ve been giving her Zarbees Cough & Mucus today as directed.

I gave her a bath before bed, gave her the decongestant as she was due for her next dose, put a clean diaper on her & put her PJs on her.

She likes to cuddle in bed with me before bed so I brought her into bed with me. After her hair dried she wanted to take her PJs off (she likes to sleep in just a diaper) so I took her pajamas off. An hour passed. We’re just laying there playing when all of the sudden she touched my arm. Her hands are HOT. Like I can feel the heat through my jeans hot. So I automatically think fever. I feel her forehead & it’s not any warmer than usual. I start feeling the rest of her body & the bottom of her feet are just as hot as her hands!

Is this a sign of a fever?

Our puppy got a hold of our only thermometer in the house a couple weeks ago & ruined it. I can’t purchase another one tonight nothing is open. Is there a way to tell if it’s a fever without one?

Should I just give her some Motrin just in case???
