So, yesterday I went to the gyno to get an IUD. As the procedure went on I, who has a low pain tolerance, was not feeling good about it. it hurt and I bled and turns out my cervix is too small to get an IUD put in without forcing a painful, and possibly dangerous, false hole. I bled a lot and I'm still feeling bad, but I do go on the pill after my next period! has this ever happened to anyone else?

UPDATE:

it's the day after said failed insertion and I'm in more pain now than I was yesterday. it hurts to do pretty much anything and the pain is right under my stomach but over my privates.
