Did you have the HPV vaccine?

Hey y’all, I’m 32 and haven’t had a vaccine for HPV...I don’t think it was a thing when I was young. How many of you have it? What age were you when you got it??
I recently went for a colposcopy and the doctors inquired on it and said I’m not outside the age range to get the shot, if I want to. 
What have been your experiences? Thanks!

I was 18 so just at the cut off point but they let me get it I’m talking ten years ago

I think I got part of the series but I didn't get the last one because we forgot. I was like 13. I recommend for sure

I was told 26 was the age limit and the year it was introduced, I was at that limit. I never got it. I did contract HPV after having my first child at almost 30 but it was gone within six months.

i got it at 15

I got it when I was 19. I still got a strain of it not covered by the shot but it was a wart causing strain not a cancer causing strain. I never had any bad experiences with it but I know a lot of people have strong opinions about it.

i got it when i was younger and i had to have 3 different shots months apart. i think now there’s only one or maybe two. i had 0 side effects i think it’s definitely worth it

I got it around 12-13, and I still got a strain of HPV. It only covers like a couple of the main dancer causing strains. But there are over 40 strains.
