Will you take your LO on vacation this summer?

I would love to take a family vacation but my daughter is 8 months old now and I'm honestly overwhelmed at the idea of traveling with a baby. Also, a beachy destination would be nice but babies can't hang out on a beach for hours. I suppose I could bring a tent with me. Ideas and tips are welcome!!

We have been taking our daughter on vacations since she was three months old.👌🏾 We love to travel so we take our daughter along to most places with us. We have taken her to San Diego, Miami, Washington D.C., London, Destin, Charleston, Pensacola, Atlanta, Orlando (Disney), Maui, Cabo, Gatlinburg, etc. Most of these spots are beach spots. We do not have her out there for a long period of time, but we make sure to have a beach hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimsuit, etc.👌🏾 When she was really young, we would be sure to have her stroller (it lays back like a bassinet) and her Dockatot for naps. Baby carriers are also convenient for the beach. There are baby-friendly and kid-friendly activities in almost every destination, just research.👍🏾

last summer at 4 months old we did a long weekend in the mountains and it was great. 
11 months we flew from East coast to west coast for a short family trip. 
and this summer at around 17 months we are doing a Disney vacation.

Honestly travelling with a baby is not that hard at all. I've taken both my kids around that age and they both did great. We picked a hotel with a nice pool both times so we had more options. And we took turns for nap times hanging in the hotel, which honestly I did the most because I love relaxing on the balcony hearing the ocean reading a book. They also make little pop up beach shade tent things that are super nice

We started long distance travel with our daughter at 9 months old. It can be a bit challenging, but it’s a blast showing your little one new places and things.
