How do some people get pregnant so quickly

So my husband and I have been trying for a baby for over a year with no success. My cousin got married and now his wife is pregnant a month later. How do people get pregnant so quickly they don’t realise how blessed they are. I can’t wait until I do a test and get our BFP.
