The cost will depend on what sorta stuff you make! Like on sundays I usually make a huge batch of soup and freeze it - so there’s enough for me & boyfriend to take to work every day for lunch. 
And I make oat/cereal bar type things to eat for breakfast or as a snack. 
That doesn’t add to much, but there’s only the two of us.

The cost will vary on what you decide to make. But meal prepping can be a timesaving and cheaper if done right. Theres lots of recipes online for it
