2 y/o says she doesn’t like the sitter

We’ve had a girl from my daughter’s daycare watching her for over a year now. We’ve loved her, my daughter used to love her, but all of the sudden about a month ago my daughter started getting upset when she would come over to babysit. DD says she doesn’t like her and just tonight told me she hit her. But then she back tracks and a few minutes later says she didn’t hit her and she likes the sitter. 🤦🏼‍♀️I have a hard time believing the sitter would do that. My daughter tells me she doesn’t like ME all the time and if we’re playing and I push her or tickle her sometimes she’ll yell that I hit her.

It’s just unsettling. Is she just being a 2y/o with a big imagination, is it separation anxiety, or is there something else going on here and I need to try to find a new sitter? I just haven’t been around enough kids to know what’s normal and what’s a warning sign.

Any advice would be appreciated!
