Birth Control Pill Period?

So I’m at the end of my pack on my second month of the birth control pill (Blisovi Fe 1/20). The first month I didn’t take the last row of pills because I’ve been told they’re not 100% necessary. And I spotted a little but nothing crazy.

But this month, I’m not taking the last row again and HONEY! I’m dealing with an EXTREMELY heavy “period”. The blood is bright red with some dark red mixed in every once in a while. My normal “regular” pads aren’t cutting it. I’m bleeding through. (Which obviously I’ll get some heavy flow ones but you catch the drift lol) And I was feeling weak earlier. I’m cramping non stop.

Is this normal!? What the heck is going on!? Has anyone experienced this? I thought that not taking the last row was supposed to keep you from having a period? Not make an extremely hellacious one?
