Trying to be healthier and happier

So gained close to 30 lbs since last year thanks to either my birth control pills or not eating healthy. I'm off the pill now and am trying to eat better. I started using a waist training belt . I've used it about 3 times and I think it's helping slowly. I try for another 30 min on the treadmill every other day and while I fudge sometimes I'm trying to stay on track and not eat too late in the evening .
