Dark ketostick?

Hi everyone! I'm currently on keto and my ketosticks are coming out dark and my mom has told me that this isnt good and that theyre too dark (shes done keto before and hers only come out pink) is it okay to have a dark ketostick for multiple days?

Keto causes heart disease kidney failure and a ton of health problems. Your body runs on carbs. So all keto is doing is just starving your body. Plus once you stop keto diet you gain it all back. You should look into a whole food plant based diet. You can eat anytime of the day you dont need to count calories and you will be getting all the nutrients that your body needs. Plus you will have a ton of energy.  Good luck. But your keto stick looks too dark. Be careful and good luck.

The whole point of keto is to put your body in ketosis so being in ketosis for multiple days is expected. However even trace amounts of ketones means you're in ketosis. I want to say having higher amounts is dangerous if you're diabetic but if you're concerned perhaps upping your carb count and speaking to you PCP
