I thought it was finally my time.. but I was wrong
So I had a miscarriage November of 2012 after trying for a year with my ex husband to get pregnant (he was 18 years older than me and already had 2 sons).. we continued to try for the remainder of our marriage when I finally left him in June 2017 (silver lining of not having a baby with him).. I am 28 and I've had 3 surgeries to help my fertility (I have a history of fibroids, endometriosis and pcos)... I had a DNC after my miscarriage, a myomectomy december 30, 2016, and just had a bilateral cystectomy and some endometriosis removal August 27, 2018.. my current boyfriend (he's 29 with a 10 year old daughter) and I have been trying since I was cleared after surgery to have sex, and my period was due March 9th, and I still haven't had it. I've taken 4 pee stick tests, spaced out a few days each, and went and got a blood screening done 2 days ago, and found out yesterday that it came back negative as well. I really thought I was pregnant this time, and honestly after 7+ years of ttc to no avail, I stopped getting my hopes up, but I have never missed a period like this before so naturally I was getting excited. I haven't made my way to an obgyn yet because of work and finances and adulting, but I was curious if this has been the case with anyone else, and what results may have been, or what course of action had been taken.. I have not had any major lifestyle changes, or any extra stress of any sort to have affected my period like this.. I'm just about at my wits end and ready to give up altogether..
