Anyone’s little one catch their first cold yet?

99% sure our little man is coming down with a cold and I feel so bad for him I wish I could take it away! I’m a FTM so any tips on making them feel better or treating the cold would be much appreciated. Our little man just turned 4 months on the 23rd

Two colds down here! I used a humidifier, saline drops, and a snot sucker. I think feeding on demand helps too. You know how they say drink a lot of fluids during a cold

Yes! We all caught it at the same time when he was 4.5 months (so a week ago, lol). I called the pediatrician immediately & it was regular cold symptoms. Gave him infant Tylenol when it was at its worst, put the humidifier on high right by his Bassinest, did the nose frida a couple times a day with saline to get the snot out, and put him on his playmat in the bathroom when showering for the warm moisture. Lots of trying to keep him off his back flat during the day for the snot, and lots and lots of nursing because it was hard for him with a stuffy nose and kept him hydrated. It lasted a full 7 days then was like, gone. Worst for 3-4 days in the middle.

Buy a nose frida with saline drops if you don’t have one! It saved us during rsv and also a cool mist humidifier

No colds yet but my guy caught RSV at 9 weeks and it lasted a good 2-3 weeks, poor love.

Yes my son had a bad one around 3 months old. We had a big family party and go figure the next day he was sick.
I took him to the pediatrician and they gave me a nebulizer breathing machine with albuterol sulfate solution. It is just a mist that breaks up congestion. 
Also saline drops. Or turn on a hot shower and let he bathroom steam up, close the bathroom door and sit in there with him so he can get some steam

My girl turns 4 months on Saturday and has had 2 colds back to back and has been sick the entire month of March! Luckily she’s feeling ok and finally starting to get better. I caught it and ive been sick for 20 days 😟
