How many words can your kiddo say?

My sons pediatrician was concerned with his speech development and suggested having us get early intervention to check him out. I’m just curious, how many words are your babes saying right now?

Nothing but dadadadda and bababbaba. Doesnt shorten it but my daughters ped said her sign language absolutely counts as words (she knows 4). So we are on track. Her ped did say she should have 3 verbal words by 18 months though

About 10. But sometimes she’ll say something new and won’t say it again for weeks so it’s not like she’s full on speaking daily.

She's capable of saying mama dada and several other sounds but not other words. I'm not pushing cuz she likes to fight anything I try to get her to do. She'll talk when she's ready.

My 15 month old can say bye bye, dada, mama, more, yes, no, up and a few more when he wants to. I would definitely not be concerned with the speech at this age. 
My nearly 4 year old was diagnosed with autism in December just gone and he didn’t start talking till he was   older ... and still can’t talk like a normal 4 year old. Just keep an eye on it but don’t be concerned about it.

My daughter is almost 16 months and we are at about 20 words. She knows some of her animals and the noises they make as well. Everyone is always shocked that she says so much, and a friend has a daughter 1 month order who only says 4-5 words.

My son doesn't day any words purposefully but will babble dadadad or mamamamama. His pediatrician was also concerned and recommended speech therapy, but we're just going to try repeating words and trying to associate things more, asking questions and giving him choices. Like do you want a cheese stick or an apple and have him point to the one he wants and say okay you want the apple. It seems to have helped he kind of points at the dogs and says dog or go, I can't actually tell lol

My little one maily says: Mama, dada, go, bye, nana, bella, mia, rollie, rhodsey, more, hey, please, hi, here, baba, cookie, puppy, baby, what, uh-oh, yes, no, love you, mmmm, muah.. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. I'm a stay at home mom though and take a lot of time with her. Her pediatrician is pretty pleased at how well she talks, gestures & listens, gl. It's fun watching them grow :)

She doesn’t say any words yet but uses hand gestures and “mmm” “nnn” “dada” sounds to express herself. She’s in speech therapy so hopefully she’ll start saying more soon
