Newborn sucking hands and arms when hungry?

I know it’s normal but does anybody else’s newborn do this? He sucks so hard he gave himself a hickey on his hand.

That's normal. He's rooting, means hes really hungry and needs food now.

All normal. In the beginning they are clusterfeeding more or less constant.

Could be hungry could always offer milk and see if he’ll take it or could just be trying to soothe himself maybe he’ll use a pacifier.
