I need advice from those of you who have used the combination pill as well as the Nexplanon implant! I’m currently on Tri-Sprintec, and my acne is worse than ever! I have never had side effects from birth control pills (other than irregular bleeding on weaker hormones), but now I am experiencing sore breasts, acne, and lowered sex drive. I’m strongly considering switching to the Nexplanon implant, but I want to hear your testimonials before making my final decision!

I have heard a lot about the implant ridding women of their periods. Without any birth control, I have very heavy periods with lots of cramping. If you have the same type of period as me, and you have used Nexplanon, did your period go away?

Any input to help me make my decision would be greatly appreciated! 😊
