I am tired of people telling me that I am lucky because I get to stay home with my baby. I am not lucky, I worked hard to be able to do this. The two years that me and my husband were married before having any babies, we planned, we saved, we worked hard so that I could be able to stay home once my baby was born. It is not being lucky, it is planning and being ready to be a parent. I have been off for the 7 months that my baby has been here with us. I enjoy every second of it and I know that I am blessed beyond measure because I have not missed one second of her growing up. But it's not because of luck it's because I work hard, I saved and I planned for the future. We do not live beyond our means, we do not go out to eat every weekend, we spend only in what is needed in my husband works hard. Blessed yes! Lucky no way!!!
