I think if their was 2 the ultrasound tech would have definitely told you.

I dont think you can ever tell anything conclusively from one picture. Sometimes you see extra stuff or missing parts on a baby simply because of the angle of the picture. Doesnt hurt to ask your OB but its a lot easier to tell one way or the other while doing the ultrasound instead from one picture

They call that a chorionic bump or a vanishing twin. I have it. Could be a hematoma or an embryo that never developed it’s so rare doctors can’t say which one it is. Some people have miscarriages and some it absorbs itself. My u/s is on Wednesday and I feel like it has taken an eternity to get this and make sure baby is ok. Good luck ❤️

I read somewhere that some docs won’t say right away if you don’t say anything in case of vanishing twin.. that’s definitely interesting though!
