Underwear causing rash

My 3 year old just started potty training and only wears diapers at night now. Every kind of toddler underwear we've tried on him (like Hanes and nickelodeon) he keeps getting a rash where the band is. Does anyone know of any really soft brand of toddler underwear we could try??
